Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about WHC Lab products and services.

How should I store my WHC Lab yeast and nutrients?

To ensure maximum viability and shelf life, all liquid yeast cultures should be stored refrigerated between 2°C and 4°C. Dry nutrients and adjuncts should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

What is the typical lead time for domestic and international shipping?

Orders within the UK and Ireland are typically processed and delivered within 2-3 business days. International shipping times vary by destination but generally range from 5-10 business days depending on customs clearance.

Do you offer temperature-controlled shipping for yeast cultures?

Yes, we utilize specialized insulated packaging and cold packs for all yeast shipments to maintain optimal temperatures during transit, ensuring the product arrives in peak condition.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Professional accounts may also request payment via bank transfer (BACS/SEPA) upon approval.

Can I return a product if I am not satisfied?

Due to the perishable nature of our biological products, we cannot accept returns on yeast once it has left our facility. However, if there is a quality issue or shipping damage, please contact us within 48 hours for a replacement or refund.

Are WHC Lab products suitable for vegan and gluten-free brewing?

Most of our yeast strains and enzymes are vegan-friendly. While yeast is naturally gluten-free, we recommend checking the specific product data sheet for any potential allergens used in the growth media.
